Mosasaurus (Mosasaurus beaugei), order of the Mosasauridae, grew up to 8 meter and weighted several tons. Mosasaurs were apex predator reptiles with a strict maritime lifestyle. They probably lived close to the coastline in about 50-150 meter depth. There is also evidence for top water prey.

Age: about 70-80 million years (late Cretaceous)

Location: Morocco
