Musk Ox Hair stablilized - Clear

Musk Ox top hair is upto 50cm long and dark brown, sometimes a bit grey. Musk Ox wool - also knows as Qiviuq or Qiviut - is one of the finest mammal fibre with superb isolation characteristics. Often used for scarfs, beanies, sweaters and other clothing in the far north.

We stabilize and cast top hair from the neck and belly of an old musk ox bull for this interesting new handle material. Also great for Jewelry making and other crafts.

Small voids and imperfections may occur. These are easily filled with Super Glue.
